The Gables is an 8 bed residential care home for people with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, with a current CQC rating of "Good".
We are looking for a CQC Registered Manager with a proven track record of achieving good standards and successfully managing teams. The ideal candidate should have:
-at least 2 years significant management experience in a relevant care setting
-Qualifications at level 4 NVQ in management and social care or equivalent and willingness to work towards level 5
Managing all aspects of running the home including recruitment of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training, budget management, finances, management of medication and implementation of policies and procedures
Communicating effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Training, developing and motivating staff through example and attention to good working practice.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and CQC key lines of enquiry
Motivating and leading staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided.
